T’was the day before LIA HILLS and all through the night,
MAC authors were working to make the class right!
They counted their questions and sharpened their pens,
They rechecked the date and reminded their friends,
They scoped out the library – everything’s fine,
They warded off covid and broke out the wine.
They updated laptops and set their alarms,
They stepped away from NaNoWriMo and absolutely
nothing rhymes with that and we’re not even gonna try
