From the Canterbury Tales
of Chaucer\u2019s hand,
This mighty tree
belongs to the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Across the years
it has stood tall and proud
Long since alone
Not one of a crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through seasons it stands
Steadfast and true,
Witness to joys
and sorrows too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In springtime\u2019s bloom
Whispers of Beltane,
Life awakens
bringing colour again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Summer days linger,
beneath its shade,
hearing the laughter,
memories made,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Autumn arrives,
symphony of gold,
leaves that rustle
stories untold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winter\u2019s embrace,
Stark and bare,
Silently watching,
Crisp cold air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you chance upon this tree,
Pause by the way,
Listen for the echo
