I looked you up under Cobalt, Azure, Cyan and Sky and eventually found you under Cerulean, which sounds very posh for you, but I guess you had your reasons for choosing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">I just wanted to say that I know that the time has come for me to accept that we are no longer compatible, we no longer complement each other and I am very sad about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Long ago when we matched\u2014your Blue with my Pink\u2014we thought we would be together for ever. But you started to stray, you chose other colours; you took up with Green\u2014although everyone said you two should never be seen together\u2014and then with White, anaemic and uninteresting, but you obviously thought it would be okay for a while, and then, sadly for me, you met Orange\u2014they are also on the spectrum and an opposite to you, but you clearly match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">With one last chance to make you see the error of your ways and return to be <em>my<\/em> pairing, I want to tell you that I do understand that the time for us may have passed. I will always be Pink\u2014even though I went North for a holiday and sunned myself into a warmer rosy-Pink before I started to turn into Cerise and knew I had to come home\u2014but I know I am better pale, especially beside my friend Grey\u2014they agree it is a better look for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">I may not be your best colour anymore, I understand that, but if you could just see that we once enhanced each other so well and we went together in many, many ways\u2014alternating on name cards in new-borns\u2019 cribs, on shelves of kiddies clothes, even on side-by-side lavatory doors in the pub\u2026 before they started drawing pictures of Lord and Lady Nelson instead\u2014who unfortunately were colourless in every way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">If you had chosen Red, I might have understood your decision\u2014hot and vibrant, I always thought\u2014but frankly, Red is just interested in attracting buyers to the middle shelf in the supermarket and not for the long term. I guess you found that out quite quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">But <em>Orange<\/em>? Did you know this is the one that I really did not like? We met a couple of times in the past and I was antagonist from the start, so I am so sorry that they have been your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><a><\/a> I hope it works out for you, I really do, but honestly, I have my doubts. Times change, fashions change, and I should change too\u2014and I might even mix with Black and make a shade that others will love and embrace\u2026 I will just wait my time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Be happy with Orange, although it troubles me and always will, but if you ever want to connect with me you will find me under <em>Rose Cerise in Amaranth Town<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-sitebg-background-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Yours always, Pink.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Blue, I have been trying to contact you for some time, but you kept changing your name.
